Georgia-Pacific Supply Chain Internship (JumpStart) – Summer 2027

About the role

The JumpStart program is an entry-level training program designed to develop future talent for Georgia-Pacific business functions. It provides interns with training and exposure to various cross-functional capabilities, fostering mutual growth and value creation.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze historical sales data to support accurate demand forecasting.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather market intelligence and demand inputs.
• Help update demand plans and track forecast accuracy.
• Work with supply planners to review production schedules and inventory levels.
• Identify potential supply constraints and recommend solutions to meet demand.
• Aid in generating supply plans aligned with demand forecasts and business goals.
• Use Excel and supply chain planning tools (SAP) to analyze data and prepare reports.
• Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and service levels.
• Engage in process improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.
• Support cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing planning efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a college degree program OR alternative program (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.).
• Eligible for full-time employment on or before Summer 2028.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
