About the role
We are seeking a patient and reliable college student for an ongoing tutoring position in Orange County, CA.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person Geometry tutoring to a 9th-grade student
- Help the student understand and approach Geometry problems
- Teach Geometry proofs
- Develop study habits for the student
- Break down problems into manageable steps
- Encourage independent thinking
- Provide light feedback to parents
Requirements
- Current undergraduate or graduate student
- Strong background in math
- Prior tutoring or mentoring experience
Qualifications
- Preferred fixed weekly schedule
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to explain complex concepts simply
