Barge Design Solutions is seeking a hard‑working and dedicated college student for a summer internship in Geomatics / Land Surveying. Positions are available in Knoxville, TN or the Tri‑Cities, TN area. One position is available.

Responsibilities
- Learning how to operate equipment to execute proper surveying techniques in the field
- Processing survey data
- Interpreting legal/property descriptions
- Operating survey instruments such as robotic total stations, GPS and laser scanning
- Performing basic field calculations
- Conducting boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, highway, route, utility and laser scanning surveys
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university
- Major: Surveying and Mapping or related field
- Current GPA of 3.0 or higher
- At least 18 years of age
- Preference given to students who do not require sponsorship
