About the role
We are seeking a proven oil finder that can work seamlessly with integrated teams in San Antonio. These positions are responsible for the generation of large-scale unconventional oil and gas prospects and the execution of highly active drilling programs.
Responsibilities
- Generate large-scale unconventional oil and gas prospects
- Execute highly active drilling programs
- Work in a team environment with reservoir, land, and operations engineering personnel
- Take prospects from concept through completion in a fast-paced drilling program
- Determine horizontal development locations and reservoir evaluation using geology and engineering data
Requirements
- MS degree in Geology
- Minimum of 5 years of oil and gas prospecting experience in a variety of structural and stratigraphic styles
Qualifications
This position requires the ability to work in a team environment with reservoir, land, and operations engineering personnel to take prospects from concept through completion in a fast-paced drilling program. This position requires unconventional resources experience, a familiarity with computer-based geological applications, and excellent presentation skills.
Skills
Proven ability to incorporate geology and engineering data to determine horizontal development locations and reservoir evaluation.
