About the role
St. Luke's Health System is looking for a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible genetic counselor to join our collaborative team of six genetic counselors. This position will be the sole genetic counselor at the St. Luke's Cancer Institute in Twin Falls, Idaho where patients receive care from a compassionate team of medical, radiation, and gynecologic oncology specialists along with an on-site pharmacy, lab, and a wide range of supportive services.
What To Expect
- Evaluate patients for hereditary predisposition to cancer and benign hematologic conditions
- Provide genetic counseling and coordinating care for the patient and family
- Serve as a resource to physicians, hospital staff, and patients/families at the Cancer Institute in Twin Falls
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Master's Degree
- Experience: 0 years
- Licenses/Certifications: Certified or Board eligible, licensure from the state of practice, or provisional license before hire date
Preferred Qualifications
- Board certified with at least 1 year of experience as an oncology genetic counselor
