Generalist, Warehouse 3rd Shift

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is an industry leader in supply chain solutions and wholesale grocery supply in the United States, servicing customers of all sizes with over 100,000 different products.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Order Picker to pick products to fill customer orders or bring down pallets of reserve stock to replenish pick slots.
• Manually pick cases of product from warehouse racks to fill customer orders and build pallets of products.
• Record daily actions using Voice-command, pick sheets, and Power-warehouse systems.
• Fit products on a pallet, ensuring heavy products are on the bottom to reduce damage, plastic wrap them, and load them onto a trailer.
• Operate an electric pallet jack to load pallets of products onto delivery trucks.
• Compile un-palletized products onto pallets.
• Operate a Stand-Up Forklift to put away or let down up to twenty pallets per hour into warehouse racks up to 46 feet high.
• Manually lift pallets to move into place and stock/pick cases of product into warehouse racks.
• Record daily actions using a Radio Frequency Computer Terminal.
• Select full case grocery, perishable, and frozen items, fit them on a pallet, plastic wrap them, and load them onto a trailer.
• Operate an electric pallet jack or clamp machine to transport pallets of product off inbound trucks.
• Clean and maintain warehouse aisles and product slots; remove product from slots, clean slots with cleaning supplies and an electric scrubber, and replace product.
• Clean warehouse offices, employee break areas, and restrooms.
• Work to the end of shift, including necessary overtime to meet business needs, and assist in other departments as required.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• Ability to operate pallet jack and other required materials handling equipment (MHE).
• Ability to operate battery hoist.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).

• Never: crawling, sitting.
• Occasionally: climbing up to 4 ft (with fall protection training and equipment), smelling, balancing, kneeling, talking.
• Frequently: crouching, pushing and pulling up to 60 lbs.
• Continuously: handling, gripping, carrying, and lifting up to 60 lbs; feeling, pivoting, stooping, reaching (waist/overhead); standing and walking on carpet, tile, concrete; fingering, hearing, seeing, and repetitive movement using both hands and feet.
