About the Role
The Inventory Auditor will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with various departments to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
Essential Job Functions / Principal Accountabilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, product codes, and descriptions.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with inventory records.
- Monitor inventory levels and anticipate potential shortages or excesses, taking appropriate actions to optimize stock levels.
- Collaborate with purchasing and receiving departments to ensure timely and accurate inventory replenishment.
- Assist in implementing inventory control procedures to minimize loss, theft, and damage.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports, identifying trends and making recommendations for process improvements.
- Avoid and resolve inventory-related issues with sales and customer service teams.
- Assist in the implementation of inventory management software and train other team members on its usage.
Skills and Conditions of Employment
- Proven experience as an Auditor or similar role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office suite.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy items, if required.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures related to inventory management.

- Mathematical skills: Ability to count accurately and efficiently
- Physical Demands: Ability to focus on details, accuracy is a must, ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to lift 25-50 lbs, ability to operate a manual pallet jack
