Summary
Manually and using powered equipment, move tires and stock materials in to and out of racked bins in a warehouse environment; perform other general labor as well as other duties as assigned by the manager.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
- Operating a forklift and related equipment to load and unload trucks and move material within the warehouse.
- Review shipments and advise management of shortages or damages shipments.
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
- Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
- Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets, work tickets or handheld scanner.
- Maintaining warehouse area in a neat and organized manner.
- Compliance with OSHA regulations and safety requirements pertaining to this position.

Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
- The environment may or may not be air conditioned/heated seasonally.
- The employee must regularly lift up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Education
- High school or equivalency, and/or related experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience operating a forklift is also preferred but not required.
