About the role

The General Warehouse team member is responsible for providing operational excellence by maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Safety, Sanitation, Security – maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
• Sweeping, mopping, detail work (cleaning underneath and wiping equipment)
• Handling damaged goods, cleaning supplies, gathering wrap and cardboard
• Use of floor scrubber
• Utilizing other equipment to navigate around the warehouse to gather garbage and recyclables
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
• Comply with OSHA, EPA, and MSDS standards

Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
• Ability to operate hand truck, pallet jack, and other material-handling equipment (MHE) as required
• Respond promptly and professionally to Sunland and/or customer needs
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Balance team and individual responsibilities
• Consistently at work and on time
• Able to work day or afternoon shifts
• High school diploma or GED; 1 year or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Candidates must pass a background check, pre-employment drug screen, and road test administered by Sunland.
