General Warehouse Associate - Nights

About the role

General Warehouse Associate IIs are responsible for all aspects of receiving, storing, and distribution of merchandise in support of the business.

Schedule

Night Shift Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:30 pm – 4:00 am.

Responsibilities

• Pull and Pick – Operate power mobile material handling equipment. Retrieve all items for delivery or picking and staging inventory accurately in assigned areas.
• Load – Load furniture into trucks for delivery to hubs, stores and customer homes.
• Receive – Receive shipments from across the globe, check furniture and accessories shipments, unload, and rack in distribution center.
• Package – Handle returns from stores and customers, and rack within distribution center.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 150 lbs with or without accommodations.
• High school diploma/GED.
• 1–2 years of experience in a distribution and/or warehouse setting preferred.
• Ability to perform tasks in a standing position for extended periods of time.
• Comfortability with repetitive movements.
• Ability to build respectful and effective working relationships, and collaborate with others to achieve common goals.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Working knowledge of computer programs.
• Understanding of general work practices in distribution and/or warehousing, including unloading, loading, picking, packing, and shipping/receiving processes and procedures.
• Willing to adjust schedule and hours as needed to accommodate business needs/overtime.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and act as a self‑starter.
• Maintain a high degree of integrity and honesty, and ability to show consistency between words and actions.

Pay

Competitive Starting Wages: $19.00 per hour plus $2.00 per hour Night Shift Premium.
