General Warehouse Associate - Nights

About the Role

Arhaus is looking for dedicated individuals to join our distribution center team as General Warehouse Associate IIs. This role is responsible for all aspects of receiving, storing, and distribution of merchandise in support of the business.

Responsibilities

• Pull and Pick – Operate power mobile material handling equipment. Retrieve all items for delivery or picking and stage inventory accurately in assigned areas.
• Load – Load furniture into trucks for delivery to hubs, stores, and customer homes.
• Receive – Receive shipments from across the globe, check furniture and accessories shipments, unload, and rack in the distribution center.
• Package – Handle returns from stores and customers, and rack within the distribution center.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 150 lbs with or without accommodations.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of experience in a distribution and/or warehouse setting preferred.
• Ability to perform tasks in a standing position for extended periods of time.
• Comfortability with repetitive movements.
• Ability to build respectful and effective working relationships and collaborate with others to achieve common goals.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Working knowledge of computer programs.
• Understanding of general work practices in distribution and/or warehousing, including unloading, loading, picking, packing, and shipping/receiving processes and procedures.
• Willingness to adjust schedule and hours as needed to accommodate business needs/overtime.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and act as a self-starter.
• Maintain a high degree of integrity and honesty, and ability to show consistency between words and actions.

Schedule

Night Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:30 pm – 4:00 am.

Pay

Competitive starting wage of $19.00/hour plus a $2.00/hour night shift premium. Employee sign-on bonus available.
