General Warehouse Associate II - Weekend

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Pull and Pick – Operate power mobile material handling equipment. Retrieve all items for delivery or picking and stage inventory accurately in assigned areas.
• Load – Load furniture into trucks for delivery to hubs, stores, and customer homes.
• Receive – Receive shipments from across the globe, check furniture and accessory shipments, unload, and rack in distribution center.
• Package – Handle returns from stores and customers, and rack within distribution center.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 150lbs with or without accommodations
• High school diploma/GED
• 1 - 2 years of experience in a distribution and/or warehouse setting preferred
• Comfortable with repetitive movements
• Ability to build respectful and effective working relationships, and collaborate with others to achieve common goals
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Working knowledge of computer programs
• Understanding of general work practices in distribution and/or warehousing, including unloading, loading, picking, packing, and shipping/receiving processes and procedures
• Willing to adjust schedule and hours as needed to accommodate business needs/overtime
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and act as a self-starter

• Maintain a high degree of integrity and honesty, and ability to show consistency between words and actions
