General Warehouse Associate (10am to 6:30pm)

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM with overtime as needed.

Pay

$18.50–$21.25 hourly (starting at $18.50).

Responsibilities

• Works in multiple distribution-center departments: case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment.
• Operates material-handling equipment (forklifts, order pickers, electric pallet jacks, etc.) to move inventory within the facility.
• Locates and delivers products, supplies, and equipment to designated areas using material-handling equipment.
• Stages and loads orders into trucks for customer delivery.
• Verifies quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers.
• Collects items for customer orders using packing-list information; builds and wraps pallets of products.
• Examines and inspects stock items for wear and defects; notifies management of inventory issues.
• Returns misplaced products to proper storage areas.
• Maintains a clean working environment in accordance with company safety policies.
• Performs inventory-control functions as needed.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Able to pass a drug test
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, walk, move, push, and pull product throughout the day
• Willingness to train to operate forklifts, order (cherry) picker, electric pallet jack, or similar equipment
• Ability to understand written and spoken English

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED strongly preferred
• 2–5 years of experience in a distribution-center or warehouse role
• Prior warehouse experience with picking and packing
• Previous experience operating material-handling equipment

Work Environment

• Regular exposure to temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for periods exceeding 60 minutes
• Repetitive movements such as 10-key use, bending, or squatting
• No travel required
