General Utility Worker (Temporary) (Haywood)

About the role

This is a temporary position located at 8252 Lake Logan Road, Haywood County, assigned to the NC Wildlife Resources Commission. There are no leave or retirement benefits offered. Temporary employees who work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP).

Hourly rate of pay: $16.00 (based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).

Responsibilities

• Maintain all safety protocols as a Range Safety Officer (RSO).
• Monitor activity on the shooting lanes at all times.
• Ensure strict adherence to Standard Operation Procedures.
• Call ranges hot and cold as needed.
• Assist patrons with appropriate range equipment instructions.

Requirements

Education and/or experience in the performance of a variety of manual tasks that is directly related to the job and consistent with accepted practices of the trade, equivalent to one year of experience.
