General Utility Worker II - Berklee College of Music

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and record food and equipment temperatures
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment including pot/dish washing and deep cleaning duties
• Attend in-house training sessions
• Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to company regulations
• Service food and beverages to customers to the standards set by Campbell Catering
• Absolutely ensure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to
• Assist chefs with the checking in of food deliveries ensuring only the highest standards of produce are accepted into the units
• Ensure that all food storage aligns with food hygiene regulations and that stock rotation systems are being followed
• Perform cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture
• Prepare the service area and/or service points
• Accurately store food items and equipment after service

Qualifications

• Previous food preparation experience preferred
• Knowledge of various food preparation methods, accurate knife handling, and food safety regulations such as accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage preferred
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification
• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and/or stand for extended periods
• May require uniforms and/or use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
