General Utility Worker - CFA RH - University of South Carolina

About the role

As a General Utility Worker on our team, you’ll maintain the cleanliness of dishes, equipment, and work environments. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for career growth within Aramark.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain dishwashing station, three-compartment sink, and related areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Keep equipment clean and in working order; report any issues to management.
• Perform light maintenance and custodial tasks as needed.
• Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward guests, customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ensure the security of company assets.
• Additional duties may be assigned based on client requirements and business needs.

Requirements

• Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures.
• Ability to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
• May require wearing uniforms and/or usage of Personal Proteive Equipment (PPE).
