About the Role
JELD-WEN Fiber Oregon is hiring for multiple General Utility Positions. These roles involve a variety of tasks in a manufacturing environment, supporting production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operating small or large machines
- Working on fiber lines, grading door skins, pulling carts, and clean-up
- Maintaining a clean work environment
- Inspecting all product for quality
- Machining products for hardware installation
- Material preparation and material handling
- Staging and packaging finished product for delivery
- Working with the team to achieve safety, quality, and production goals
- Standing for up to 12 hours per day
- Pulling, bending, twisting, reaching
- Lifting up to 60 pounds
- Other manufacturing duties as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Punctual attendance
- Safety mindset
- Dependable
- Must be available to work any shift
Pay
Hourly rates starting from $18.57, plus shift differential for second and third shifts. Overtime available as needed.
Schedule
- Rotating 7:30 A.M. to 7:30 P.M.
- Rotating 7:30 P.M. to 7:30 A.M.
