About the role

As a General Utility team member, you will properly wash and store all dishes, trays, eating utensils, cups, and small kitchen equipment. You’ll assist in portioning, peeling, and cleaning food as requested, maintain the dish room and dish machine in a sanitary and efficient manner, and clean the dining room, lavatories, and common areas.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time as scheduled and maintain a clean, restaurant-approved uniform.
• Practice positive personal hygiene and cleanliness during all shifts.
• Exemplify hospitality standards, answer guest questions, and handle requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority.
• Cooperate with management and coworkers to assist others with duties when needed; communicate suggestions for improvement in a positive manner.
• Follow all national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines; report unsafe conditions and use materials and equipment properly.
• Know and follow emergency procedures in the restaurant.
• Perform all duties and maintain knowledge of all standards and procedures as stated in the associate handbook.

Pay

$15.00–$17.00/hour based on experience.
