About the role

As a Polisher / General Utility team member, you will properly wash and store all dishes, trays, utensils, cups, and small kitchen equipment. You will assist in portioning, peeling, and cleaning food as needed, maintain the dish room and dish machine in a sanitary and efficient manner, and keep the dining room—including lavatories and common areas—clean.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time as scheduled; wear a clean, restaurant-approved uniform.
• Maintain positive personal hygiene and cleanliness throughout every shift.
• Exemplify hospitality standards; answer guest questions and handle requests or complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority.
• Assist coworkers and management with duties as needed; communicate suggestions for improvement in a positive manner.
• Follow all national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines; report unsafe conditions and use materials and equipment properly.
• Know and follow emergency procedures in the restaurant.
• Perform all duties and maintain knowledge of all standards and procedures outlined in the associate handbook.

Pay

$15.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience.
