About the role

This is a part time position, approximately 10-15 hours a week. Hours depend on nature of requests.

Responsibilities

• Coaching students with a wide variety of learning styles
• Asserting firm boundaries with teenagers/young adults to help them get the most out of tutoring
• Working with students in various subjects
• Providing accessible content and study skills to students

Requirements

• Located in San Jose, San Francisco, or Palo Alto areas
• Bachelor's or Master's degree required
• Driver's license and reliable transportation
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred
• Firm boundaries
• Available for weekday afternoons and evenings and one weekend day either Saturday or Sunday
• Available for up to 12-15 hours per week
• Experience serving high net-worth clients a plus
• Experience in Independent and Private schools highly desired

Qualifications

• Must be located in San Jose, San Francisco, or Palo Alto areas
• BA or BS or higher required

Pay

Compensation depends on experience, education, and is for IN PERSON tutoring. Please note the upper range of compensation is dependent on master's and doctoral degrees as well as experience.

Schedule

Available for weekday afternoons and evenings and one weekend day either Saturday or Sunday, up to 12-15 hours per week.
