General Transport Volunteer

Description

Volunteers are responsible for helping the transport lead to ensure a smooth transport of dogs coming from TX. Your tasks include:

• Helping set up and tear down the transport location
• Ensuring dogs go through vetting and picture sessions
• Fitting dogs for collars and harnesses
• Welcome new fosters and foster-to-adopt (FTA) dogs
• Working together with other volunteers and leads to handle dogs appropriately
• Representing Ruff Start Rescue in a professional and helpful manner

Participation Requirements

• Attend Orientation
• Be 16 years old or older
• Work 4-hour shifts on Saturdays
