About the Role

This is a night shift position for a Physician Assistant (PA) with board certification in General Surgery, providing coverage in inpatient and operating room settings. The role supports hospital residents, responds to rapid response codes, and handles surgical consults without requiring first assist duties or call.

Responsibilities

• Assist hospital residents in the SICU with procedures such as central line placement
• Respond to rapid response codes and support surgical consults on the floor
• Provide general surgery coverage during scheduled nights, Sunday through Thursday

Requirements

• Board certification in General Surgery
• Prescriptive authority
• Ability to collaborate with clinical staff
