General Surgery Physician Associate - Locum Tenens

About the Role

This position is for a Board-Certified General Surgeon providing night shift coverage in an inpatient and OR setting.

Responsibilities

• Assisting hospital residents in the SICU with procedures such as central line placement
• Responding to rapid codes
• Supporting surgical consults on the floor

First assist duties are not required.

Requirements

• Board Certification in General Surgery
• Prescriptive authority
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
• Ability to collaborate with clinical staff

Additional Details

The clinician will support a variable case load, serve patients of all ages, and work on-site. No call duties are involved. This role focuses on providing quality surgical care and supporting the surgical team in a hospital setting.
