General Surgery Physician Assistant
About the role
As our General Surgery Physician Assistant (PA), you will serve as a key member of the surgical services team at Centennial Surgery, a department of CHI Mercy Health—an institution nationally recognized as a Top 20 Rural & Community Hospital. Based in Southern Oregon, this full-time position offers an opportunity to deliver comprehensive clinical care primarily in an outpatient setting, complemented by inpatient post-op rounding, within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Please note that this role does not include operating room assisting.
Every day you will provide high-quality patient care, focusing primarily on outpatient clinical management with scheduled inpatient post-op rounding to ensure a seamless experience for those undergoing general surgery services. Best of all, you will enjoy a Monday-through-Friday schedule with weekends off and no call responsibilities, allowing you to fully enjoy everything our region has to offer.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting
- Perform scheduled inpatient post-op rounding
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive clinical care
- Focus on outpatient clinical management for patients undergoing general surgery services
Requirements
- Required Master of Science from an ARC-PA accredited program
- NCCPA board certification
- Have or obtain an Oregon medical license and DEA certificate
Preferred Qualifications
- Clinical or non-clinical General Surgery work experience

$144,739 - $165,677 /year
