Seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Surgeon for a community-based practice in Mishawaka, Indiana. The role involves providing comprehensive surgical care, including clinic visits, OR procedures, inpatient consults, and shared call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Managing inpatient cases and coordinating perioperative care
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Maintaining an ambulatory clinic
• Utilizing advanced surgical technology like DaVinci robotic systems
• Adhering to evidence-based guidelines
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with hospital policies using the EMR (Epic)

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in General Surgery
• Eligible for Indiana medical licensure and DEA registration
• Passion for community-based, patient-centered care
