General Surgery Opportunity

Seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Surgeon for a community-based practice in Mishawaka, Indiana. The role involves providing comprehensive surgical care, including clinic visits, OR procedures, inpatient consults, and shared call coverage. Key responsibilities include managing inpatient cases, coordinating perioperative care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, maintaining an ambulatory clinic, and utilizing advanced surgical technology like DaVinci robotic systems. The surgeon will adhere to evidence-based guidelines, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with hospital policies using the EMR (Epic). Qualifications: Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in General Surgery, eligible for Indiana medical licensure and DEA registration, with a passion for community-based, patient-centered care.
