About the role

The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant assesses, diagnoses, treats patients in general surgery/colorectal clinic, and assists in managing the overall clinic. They manage a wide range of outpatient duties and emergency situations, adhering to standard practices and established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients in general surgery/colorectal clinic
• Aids in managing the overall clinic
• Manages a wide range of outpatient duties
• Assists in managing emergency situations
• Ensures quality and safe delivery of care to patients of all ages

Requirements

• Completion of a master's degree in nursing and an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
• Licensure and/or Certification: Current license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Massachusetts required. National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required (ARNP or PA-C)
• BLS healthcare provider required

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written
• Excellent problem-solving skills, including creativity, resourcefulness, timeliness, and technical knowledge

Pay

Pay Range: $55.00 - $75.00 / Hourly

Schedule

Shift: Day shift
Hours: 8:30-5:00pm
