Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
- Visit 2-3 facilities per day to treat approximately 20-30 patients
- Utilize proprietary wound-specific EMR for real-time clinical documentation
- Engage in ongoing physician-level wound management training and fellowship
Qualifications
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week
- Experience in clinical wound management preferred
- Passion for helping wound care patients and a good cultural fit
- Desire for professional growth in a specialized field
