General Surgeon

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.
• Manage a diverse caseload, collaborate with subspecialists, and contribute to a growing surgical team in a rapidly expanding community.
• Perform robotic-assisted procedures with dedicated equipment and support staff.
• Work 2 days in clinic, 2 OR days, and 1 admin day during the week. No clinic on weekends; weekend call only. Weekend call is Friday night through Monday morning (24-hour shifts).
• Have a 1:5 call rotation, including trauma first call.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
• U.S. ACGME General Surgery Residency training.
• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery.
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
• Active DEA, or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $7.25 - $999.99
