General Surgeon

About the role

As a General Surgeon, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you’ll diagnose and treat a broad range of conditions, including hernias, gallbladder disease, appendicitis, gastrointestinal disorders, thyroid and parathyroid issues, and breast health concerns. You’ll also play a vital role in coordinating pre- and post-operative care to ensure seamless patient outcomes. Our practice combines advanced minimally invasive techniques, such as laparoscopic and robotic surgery, with traditional surgical approaches.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a broad range of conditions, including hernias, gallbladder disease, appendicitis, gastrointestinal disorders, thyroid and parathyroid issues, and breast health concerns.
• Play a vital role in coordinating pre- and post-operative care to ensure seamless patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced minimally invasive techniques, such as laparoscopic and robotic surgery, with traditional surgical approaches.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery.
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
• BLS, ACLS certification and DEA.
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine. Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery. Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one. BLS, ACLS certification and DEA. Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.

Skills

Advanced minimally invasive techniques, such as laparoscopic and robotic surgery. Traditional surgical approaches.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $7.25 - $999.99
