Responsibilities

• Supervise wage earner employees engaged in the construction, operation, and maintenance of the gas distribution system.
• Ensure wage earners work safely and efficiently, adhering to all company policies and work procedures.
• Oversee repair of the gas distribution system, gas equipment (such as meters, regulators, appliances, and interior piping) on customers' premises.
• Oversee the completion of safety surveys and other regulatory compliance work.
• Ensure the protection of company property, approve the issuance of tools, materials, and other supplies to operation employees, and offer assistance in applicable areas.
• Communicate effectively and resolve issues with customers and industry professionals regarding gas piping facilities, pertinent codes, and company practices.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, HSED, or GED.
• 5+ years of experience in Gas Operations, Distribution, or Construction.
• 5+ years of experience working with and understanding related codes (Title 49 CFR 192, IL Admin Rules, etc.).
• 3+ years of experience with standard computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• 3+ years of experience with specialty computer applications (Maximo, PCAD, Open-C, etc.).
• 3+ years of formal or informal leadership experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Gate Station/Transmission Experience (preferred).

Pay

The pay range for this position is $90,507.56 to $135,761.08. The starting salary within the pay range will be based on relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.
