About the role

One of Pearl Abyss America, Inc., the team behind Black Desert and the upcoming titles DokeV and Crimson Desert, is seeking highly skilled individuals who are passionate about creating exceptional gaming experiences and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of innovative features and gameplay mechanics for the company's games.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve game quality.
• Stay updated with industry trends and contribute to the team's knowledge through research and discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Design, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in game development or a closely related field.
• Strong understanding of game design principles and player psychology.
• Experience with at least one major game engine (Unity, Unreal Engine).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Passionate about video games and committed to delivering high-quality products.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.

Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, or Python.
• Experience with game design tools and assets creation.
• Knowledge of game testing and quality assurance processes.
• Understanding of game monetization strategies and business models.
