Job Duties
- Serves as ready to go when needed with a good general attitude, positive person, and clean driving record.
- Communicates with customers as required and transports customers to and from the shop.
- Ensures the shop and grounds are clean of debris and dirt, emptying trash cans regularly.
- Cleans scrap parts and metals under benches, moving old tires to the scrap pile, and notifying management about good tires.
- Keeps the front waiting room clean and organized, including sweeping, dusting, and restocking supplies.
- Maintains equipment and supplies, such as cleaning and servicing sweepers, mops, buckets, and ensuring proper levels of cleaning products.
- Completes forms, performs stock checks, and advises the service advisor or manager about equipment issues.
- Attends the production goal setting meeting on Mondays and assists with tasks like checking oil drain tanks and scrub wash tanks.
- Checks the night drop box for supplies and reports battery jump pack locations.
- Wipes down doors, windows, and machinery, and ensures proper maintenance of equipment and supplies.
- Reports on the status of recycled antifreeze tanks and other equipment levels to the manager.
