About the role

Credence is seeking a General Security Operations and Program Security Support professional at the journeyman level to support the Operations Management (OM) Division (AFLCMC/WAO/WBO). The division provides support to PEOs for the F&AA and WB Directorates under the umbrella of organize, train, and equip, serving as a direct link between the Directorates with HQ AFLCMC, HQ AFMC, and installations at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH. Responsibilities include administrative functions such as FOIA, records management, training, awards and decorations, oversight for MIS/IT and ADPE inventory, facility support, and human resource management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide F/B Directorate security operations support, including preparing and coordinating security-related briefing materials and technical assistance for briefings, meetings, and conferences
  • Record and track security program action items and suspenses; manage newcomer and security-related databases; provide administrative and logistical support for directorate visitor control
  • Maintain an active Defense Information System for Security (DISS) account; verify personnel security clearances, process investigation documents, review for accuracy, and track clearance requests
  • Develop security requirements into contractual commitments and coordinate DD Form 254 (DoD Contract Security Classification Specification)
  • Assist personnel with completing personnel security investigation paperwork, review packages for accuracy, and support tracking of clearances
  • For WBV Bombers support only: operate the installed access control system for the acquisition complex serving >5,000 users; verify credentials, issue badges, grant access, and enforce zero-defect access control procedures
  • Provide a wide range of security management, analytical, technical, and support services for programs managed by DoD, USAF, AFMC, AFLCMC, and the AFLCMC F/B Directorate
  • Serve as the focal point for security; analyze procedures and coordinate solutions for security deficiencies with the Government security task lead
  • Support implementation of information, personnel, industrial, resource protection, force protection, and anti-terrorism security programs per DoD/USAF/AFMC/AFLCMC/F/B Directorate policy
  • Perform end-of-day safety and security checks for assigned facilities within the F/B Directorate
  • Identify security issues and recommend changes to DoD/USAF/AFMC/AFLCMC/F/B Directorate/AFLCMC/WAO Division/program security policy for Government security lead consideration
  • Conduct analyses of procedures for handling, controlling, storing, and disposing of classified or critical weapon system hardware; document and submit reports with recommended actions
  • Evaluate measures to deny unauthorized physical access to buildings, facilities, resources, or stored information; provide guidance on designing structures to resist hostile acts
  • Comply with task order DD Form 254 requirements; support handling, storage, and return of classified and controlled unclassified information per task order requirements
  • Handle SIPRNET and JWICS communications; ensure cognizant parties are informed and appropriate responses are prepared, coordinated, and communicated while maintaining applicable security disciplines
  • Support proper handling, preparation, tracking, planning, editing, development, publication, and storage of classified products; support meetings, events, schedules, calendars, and administrative tasks on SIPRNET and JWICS systems as required

Requirements

  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to be read onto SCI
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and up to three years of relevant experience OR five years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements
  • Must possess and maintain a current collateral Secret or Top Secret clearance per DD Form 254, LOE Matrix, and PWS unless otherwise stated
  • Must be eligible for additional security investigations and program access requirements, including SAP or SCI access as reflected in DD Form 254
  • Must support access to proscribed information, SIPRNET, and JWICS, and comply with FOCI, NID, and security handling requirements
  • Must have at least an active Secret security clearance verifiable in DISS
