Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Gather necessary materials, use appropriate hand tools, and operate applicable machinery and equipment in various plants to support the assembly floor and finished product while achieving production goals, quotas, and objectives
• Assist in assembly operations as directed by management to achieve company goals and objectives
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to appropriate personnel including Group Leaders, Group Managers, or quality control personnel
• Label finished products to match appropriate paperwork
• Maintain work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition; follow prescribed safety regulations per plant policies and OSHA guidelines including use of safety glasses, ear plugs, masks, pants, close-toed shoes, and associated safety equipment
• Report unsafe conditions to appropriate supervision
• Perform repetitive type assembly functions using hand or power tools, and applicable machinery and equipment to assist in assembly of the product line
• Retrieve raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products for proper assembly; check quality of material pulled from raw stock and manufactured materials, and assure correct type, amount, and appropriate dimensions for assembly
• Place materials and parts in specified relationship to each other
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Ability to multiply, divide, add, and subtract
• Ability to read and comprehend basic verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work in an environment exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and machines, vibrations, and loud noises
• Ability to adhere to all safety protocols including OSHA guidelines
• Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Ability to occasionally and/or frequently lift and/or move stock, materials, and unfinished and finished production-oriented materials weighing between 10 and 75 pounds
• Ability and motivation to learn
• Ability to work in a manufacturing and fast-paced environment

• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
