General Production
Responsibilities
- Gather necessary materials and use appropriate hand tools.
- Operate machinery and affix parts and support mechanisms to the product.
- Trim operations and paint rough and finished products.
- Wrap, box, stack, and package machined products, label and tally them accordingly.
- Make necessary repairs to the product and load them where applicable.
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to appropriate personnel.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines, report safety hazards, and comply with OSHA guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including storage spaces.
- Ensure tools and equipment are safely stored after each use.
- Consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Staging and packaging of finished product for delivery.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous maintenance and laborer experience desired but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of tool usage.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Clear and precise communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- Ability to be trained in basic processes and equipment.
