About the role

This position requires physical labor in an industrial food production environment. Team members must adhere to strict safety protocols, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules
• Must be willing to push, pull, carry, and/or lift 40+ pounds for some positions
• Must be willing to work in damp, cold, or hot environments and reach above shoulder level
• Must be willing to stand 8–10 hours a day
• Must be able to perform the duties of the position
• Must wear PPE: ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net, and beard guard
• Must be able to maneuver around freely as needed
• Must have good hand/eye coordination
• Must be willing to climb up and down steps/stairs to get to and from work areas when needed

Qualifications

• Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you previously worked at Tyson, there is a 365-day waiting period before you can reapply
• Number of Times Worked at Tyson: You may apply if you have worked at Tyson no more than three times total
• Failed Drug Screen: If you had a failed drug screen, you must wait 6 months before reapplying

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $16.90 per hour
• Work Shift: 1st Shift
