General Plant Labor - 1st shift

About the Role

Completes general activities on the production floor in a refrigerated food manufacturing plant. The environment may be wet or dry, with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 110°F. The role involves repetitive lifting, kneeling, and bending with packages in excess of 35 lbs, as well as walking and standing for long periods of time. Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Assists with production, preparation, and storage of company products.
• Places boxed products on a pallet.
• Maintains housekeeping of the production plant and warehouse.
• Follows company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Requirements

• Must be able to follow directions.
• English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
