Responsibilities
- Prepping and administering anesthetic agents for surgical procedures.
- Conducting pre-anesthesia evaluations to determine appropriate anesthetic plans.
- Monitoring patients during procedures to maintain stability and safety.
- Documenting anesthetic details for medical records, teaching, and legal purposes.
- Providing supervision and guidance to anesthesia students and medical personnel.
Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing and nurse anesthesia program.
- Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse and Registered Nurse in Texas.
- Certification as a Nurse Anesthetist from the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- No prior experience required; new graduates are welcome.
