General Neurologist Outpatient

About the role

The Illinois Neurological Institute is seeking an outpatient neurologist to join a team of one other full-time neurologist and two advanced practice providers (APPs). The position welcomes all subspecialties, particularly epilepsy, sleep, and neurophysiology (EEG/EMG).

Responsibilities

  • Access to a growing Neurosurgery practice and Interventional Neurology program to support stroke care.
  • Potential academic opportunity with Family Practice residents from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Bloomington.
  • No hospital call required.
  • A strong referral base from OSF Medical Group and primary care physicians in the area.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Illinois.
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Neurology.
  • Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
  • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
  • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

Pay

Full-time, clinical total compensation range for this position: $314,137-$450,000. Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.
