About the role

General merchandise associates greet customers on the salesfloor, offer assistance, and recommend merchandise based on the customer's wants and needs. They also ensure Hobbies & Home Improvement displays are maintained and in proper order throughout the day. Paint mixing and fabric cutting may be required. This full-time position is located at Walmart Supercenter #621, 900 US 52 HWY, Lake City, SC 29560.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers on the salesfloor and offer assistance
  • Recommend merchandise based on customer wants and needs
  • Maintain Hobbies & Home Improvement displays in proper order throughout the day
  • Perform paint mixing as required
  • Perform fabric cutting as required

Pay

  • Hourly wage: $14 – $27 per hour (actual rate equals or exceeds the required minimum wage for the job location)
  • Annual or quarterly performance incentives
  • Premium pay ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour for specific circumstances (schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed); multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met
