About Fulfillment

Fulfillment experts are specialists in operations, process, and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for guests by ensuring they get what they want, when they want it, and how they want it. The fulfillment team picks, preps, packs, sorts, and ships products safely, efficiently, and effectively to deliver convenience and quality for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store and specific to your area to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Select items for order pickup, drive‑up, and ship‑to‑home for digital guest orders.
• Accurately put on hold all order pickup and drive‑up orders.
• Properly prepare, pack, and sort guest orders for shipment using correct materials.
• Deliver quality and accuracy with each order while meeting timeliness goals.
• Maintain your workspace and supplies; keep equipment and designated areas organized and stocked.
• Properly use equipment while following safety best practices.
• Follow all safety guidelines, operating procedures, product freshness and quality standards, and food safety guidelines when handling, displaying, or storing food items.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Work safely at all times; comply with safety policies, report hazards, and correct them where possible.
• Support guest services such as back‑up cashier, order pick‑up (OPU), and drive‑up (DU) while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local adult‑beverage laws.
• Perform all other duties based on business needs.

Physical Requirements

• Climb up and down ladders.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely.
• Frequently lift or move merchandise up to 44 lb without assistance; team‑lift items 45–100 lb.
• Maintain mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements (e.g., drive‑up, carryout areas).
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with regular, reliable, and prompt attendance.
