About the role

The fulfillment team picks, preps, packs, sorts, and ships products safely, efficiently and effectively to deliver convenience and quality for guests. As a Fulfillment Expert, you will work in a dynamic environment where daily tasks change based on guest ordering patterns, gaining experience in retail fundamentals, reporting systems, and process efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store and your area to solve guest issues and improve experience.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Engage with guests in a welcoming way when they need assistance, thanking them for shopping at Target.
• Select items for order pickup, drive‑up, and ship‑to‑home for digital guest orders.
• Accurately put on hold all order pickup and drive‑up orders.
• Properly prepare, pack and sort guest orders for shipment using correct materials.
• Deliver quality and accuracy with each order while meeting timeliness goals.
• Maintain workspace and supplies; keep equipment and designated areas organized and supplies in stock.
• Properly use equipment while following safety best practices.
• Follow all safety guidelines, operating procedures, product freshness and quality standards; follow food safety guidelines when handling, displaying and/or storing food items.
• Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely, comply with safety policies, report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back‑up cashier, order pick‑up (OPU) and Drive‑up (DU), maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws.
• Perform other duties based on business needs.

Requirements

• Open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and peak shopping times).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Learn and adapt to current technology needs.
• Ability to work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions immediately.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes.
• Capable of remaining focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment and accomplishing multiple tasks within established timeframes.
• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb up and down ladders.
• Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 lb without assistance, and team lift items 45‑100 lb.
• Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties (e.g., Drive‑Up, carryout).
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary).

Pay

Starting hourly rate: $16.50 USD per hour.
