General Manufacturing Manager 2 - 2nd Shift

About the role

This role is a 2nd Shift General Manufacturing Manager 2 position based out of Baltimore, MD. The role involves providing direction to employees, driving efficiency, meeting product cost and schedule targets, managing the area to produce quality products, engaging employees to achieve their highest potential, implementing process improvements, and performing required SAP/MES transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to employees utilizing management guidelines and general policies
• Drive employee efficiency
• Meet product cost and schedule targets
• Manage the area to produce quality products
• Engage employees to achieve their highest potential
• Implement process improvements to improve affordability, quality, and schedule
• Facilitate and lead meetings / projects
• Perform required SAP/MES transactions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of professional experience in a Manufacturing, Production, or Engineering environment
• Experience as a functional leader
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Project Management
• Experience with SAP/MES
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Level Security Clearance
• U.S. Citizenship required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, or other STEM area
• Experience working with manufacturing equipment and processes
• Prior experience working in a represented (union) environment

Pay

Primary Level Salary Range: $115,600.00 - $173,400.00

Schedule

2nd Shift Hours – 3:00pm – 12:30am
