General Manager - Window World of Cleveland & Akron

About the role

Window World Penn-Ohio is looking for an experienced, motivated General Manager to oversee our Cleveland and Akron locations. This leadership role is responsible for the overall performance of both locations, including operations, team development, customer satisfaction, and profitability. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can develop strong teams, hold employees accountable, improve processes, and ensure both locations consistently meet company expectations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Cleveland and Akron locations
• Lead, coach, and develop managers and team members
• Monitor sales, operational, and financial performance
• Establish expectations and hold departments accountable to company KPIs
• Ensure efficient communication between sales, installation, service, and office teams
• Monitor installation, production, and service performance
• Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally and promptly
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and customer experience
• Ensure company policies, procedures, and standards are consistently followed
• Help with the hiring process alongside Human Resources
• Resolve inter-office issues and performance standards

Requirements

• Previous management or leadership experience required
• Multi-location management experience preferred
• Home improvement, construction, or service-industry experience is a plus
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple departments and priorities
• Comfortable analyzing performance metrics and holding teams accountable
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between Cleveland and Akron
