General Manager Retail - Rock Shop

About the Role

Hard Rock International is seeking a talented Retail Rock Shop General Manager for our NYC Times Square Hard Rock Cafe - Rock Shop. Our operators are true entrepreneurs who manage large teams, drive bottom-line results, and oversee multi-dimensional operations that include fresh, made-from-scratch ingredients, iconic bars, live music, phenomenal events, and rocking retail operations. This is not just another “job opportunity.”

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Retail Industry (comparable years of retail operations management experience).
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Strong leadership behaviors coupled with the technical skill set to drive business success.
• Genuine enthusiasm and aptitude for serving people.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of business acumen and common sense.
• Proven track record of managerial success in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to comprehend and use technical or professional language to communicate complex ideas.
• Multiple language abilities a plus; fluency in English required.

Physical Demands

• Ability to move throughout the Rock Shop and Cafe (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists.
• Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.
• Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hands above shoulders.
• Ability to occasionally, regularly, or frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 10 pounds.
• Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environments.

Pay

Pay Range: $112,500 - $168,800.

Compensation includes a base salary of $120,000 and above, plus a bonus plan.
