General Manager - Restaurant

Job Functions

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
• Auxiliary support to the General Manager of the facility with proper task execution, following effective safety practices, scheduling, cash integrity, talent acquisition and development, and completing daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• Collaborate with team members to coach and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to meet customer service expectations
• Understand financial reporting, including profit and loss statements, to influence business changes and seize opportunities
• Respond to customer feedback and work to enhance the overall dining experience

Experience

• 3+ years restaurant management experience
• 3+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1M+
• 3+ years influencing and interpreting budgets and P&L statements

Skills and Demands

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening
