General Manager in Training
About the role
The ideal candidate for this position should have previous General Manager experience or a strong background in quick service restaurants and hospitality or retail. Applicants must be 18 years or older.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects within the restaurant, including profit, food production, scheduling, guest experience, and direct crew and manager responsibilities.
- Proactively lead and manage People processes including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance management, training, coaching, and motivating.
- Plan for and make critical business decisions around inventory, budgets, and food ordering/costs.
- Ensure food safety measures are set and achieved to McDonald’s standards of excellence.
- Maintain high levels of safety for both guests and employees.
- Oversee all operational needs of the restaurant, including maintenance plans to meet and exceed standards of excellence.
Requirements
A background in quick service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail. Must be 18 years or older.

Commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace, strong customer service and support focus, and the ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs.
Skills
Effective communication skills, decision-making abilities, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
