General Manager in Training

About the role

The ideal candidate for this position should have previous General Manager experience or equivalent experience in quick service restaurants or hospitality/re retail. Applicants must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the restaurant including profit, food production, scheduling, guest experience, and direct crew and manager responsibilities.
• Lead People processes including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance management, training, coaching, and motivating.
• Proactively lead and manage all People processes including but not limited to: Recruiting, Hiring, Onboarding, Performance Management, Training, coaching and motivating!
• Plan for success by making critical business decisions around inventory, budgets, and food ordering/costs.
• Ensure food safety measures are set and achieved to McDonald’s standards of excellence.
• Inspire and empower by maintaining high levels of safety for both guests and employees.
• Oversee all operational needs of the restaurant, including maintenance plans to meet and exceed standards of excellence.

Qualifications

Commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace, strong customer service and support focus, and the ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs are required. Provide solutions and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
