General Manager

About the role

The General Manager leads the dedicated team at the Grand SpringHill Suites in Buena Park, California. As the hotel’s leader, you will motivate managers, inspire employees, engage with guests, and run an efficient, profitable business that delivers a superior guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and all areas of the hotel, including front office, housekeeping, breakfast, maintenance, night audit, guest satisfaction, and sales.
• Market the hotel’s quality product and services to exceed guests’ expectations.
• Provide sales leadership and implement plans to achieve profitability goals.
• Recruit, hire, train, and retain top talent to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Supervise, mentor, and motivate hotel employees.
• Assist guests promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with departments to achieve budgets and build strong working relationships.
• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the hotel.
• Create the hotel’s annual budget and track performance throughout the year.
• Produce and explain monthly financial reports.
• Deliver strong financial performance while maintaining guest relations.
• Collaborate and learn with other ZMC Hotels General Managers.
