General Manager

Job Summary

Victra is the largest Verizon authorized retailer in the United States. As a General Manager, you will shape the guest experience, drive high-performance results, and mentor your Assistant General Manager.

About the Role

You will have a high level of accountability for all retail store functions and communicate and implement the company vision through directing the day-to-day activities of the entire store staff. You will act as a mentor for your Assistant General Manager and drive the business forward by motivating your team to do their best in every guest interaction.

Responsibilities

• Drive for high-performance results within a fast-paced, demanding solutions sales environment
• Focusing on optimizing customer and employee experience
• Act as a mentor for your Assistant General Manager
• Complete trainings and attend weekly sales leadership calls
• Build, develop, and mentor your sales team
• Engage in sales strategy development to ensure our products and services are effectively showcased throughout the store
• Maintain the performance of your store by running retail inventory compliance
• Engage in business operations including budgeting, forecasting, analyzing, and providing sales reports
• Own store success and take ownership for store employees’ work-related needs, store leadership, staffing and scheduling, maintaining labor controls, marketing, loss prevention, and all other store functions
• Own all guest escalations and provide a timely resolution
• Clearly communicate company objectives and priorities to team members and provide timely follow up
• Think of innovative ways to drive traffic in stores and capitalize on existing customer base
• Set the bar high when it comes to achieving goals and motivating others to help you get there

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a retail sales environment
• 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role
• Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment
• Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals
• Balanced multiple opposing priorities in a multifaceted environment
• Set goals, evaluated performance, and developed a high performing team
• Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge
• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of customer service, preferably in a retail or sales environment
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods
• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to lift ten pounds and stand for long periods of time

Qualifications

Pay and Schedule

The pay will include a base rate of $22.90/hour with uncapped earning potential through commission. The exact schedule will vary based on the store location and operational needs.
